Whether you play Irish system or continental, adapting to Atzarin is quick and easy, due to similarities in the position of notes and fingering sequencies.
In many cases, fingering, as in which fingers are used to play which notes, mostly coincides with the fingering used on diatonic accordion, be it the Irish type or the continental type.
In the future there will be more information and comparisons of this kind in Layout Info.
For a quick transition from a conventional layout to an Atzarin layout, it is possible to play a piece opening and closing the bellows at exactly the same moments as when played on an Irish or continental layout. Although this is not the best way to use Atzarin it does make the transition process faster and easier than changing to other systems which have little in common with conventional bisonoric instruments.
