Atzarin Bandonion Button Arc Layout

This page shows the revised, definitive layout of the Atzarin bandonion. This new layout starts a semitone lower than on initial prototypes so as to give "a" below "c1" both on the push and on the draw, making it more similar to a traditional bandonion. This helps to eliminate the need for a lot of bellows reversals, and is especially useful when playing directly from scores written for piano.

The drawings also reflect the new button size and spacing of the definitive Atzarin bandonion.

For comparison of both note maps and size and spacing proportions, the initial prototypes' proposed layout can be seen here. To understand how the different layouts are in fact the same kind of arrangement, please visit the Details section of this website.
