Harry Geuns
Harry is a very professional and truly expert bandonion and concertina maker in Belgium. He is the supplier of the mini hybrid bandonion shown on the instruments page of this web site, which he modified to Atzarin specifications. His site has loads of very interesting photos and numerous different keyboard layouts for bandonions and several sound files too! I stronlgy recommend a visit to the Collection pages and make sure you check out the foot bass and sound files.
intuitive instruments for improvisers
Excellent site, packed with quality information. Make sure you have a clear mind before trying to get your head around the Atlas section!
Keyboard layouts for 2, 2+, and 3 row Melodeons
This page forms part of Orest's Melodeon Discussion Pages and is very interesting and useful if you are thinking of modifying the layout of a continental style diatonic accordion. Excellent analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of dozens of different layouts as well as diagrams showing the notes on each hand for each layout!
Thumtronics - The new shape of music
Excellent web site! If I had any money left I'd buy some shares....Anyway, before you get carried away, if you already play a bisonoric instrument make sure you read a great article comparing the Wicki/Hayden system to the Maccan system on the concertina at
Which Duet Concertina--Hayden or Maccann? particulary from section 9 to the end including the notes.
